Made from a hand-select mahogany body, bloodwood fingerboard, maple neck, and walnut pickguard; each chosen to maximize sustain and give the instrument its uniquely-detailed tone. Equipped with a Sandburg SilkGlide neck having medium frets and inlaid position marker dots; Fulcrum Tremolo, and the KVG Laboratories Åcoustron ZMI-2-H embedded pickup system. Scale length is the traditional 25.5-inches.
The Åcoustron Electric Guitar gives the guitarist acoustic-like ring and rich harmonic structure with a clean yet dense electric signature. The result is a guitar that reveals every nuance of the guitarist's expression, removing the tonal limitations to performance and composition. Effects take on a 3D-like sense of clarity and size, amplifiers become more dynamic and vivid than before. Åcoustron is the realization of my desire to move guitar music beyond the strictures of traditional tone and form.
